A view on both sides of the river

In August 2026, the camera paused on Porto’s riverfront. Boats on the Douro, people strolling across the square; on the opposite bank, houses climb the hillside in layers beneath broad, drifting clouds.

A photograph can hold so many details: reflections on the water, shadows along the bank, distant rooftops. Looking closer brings back small things that might have passed unnoticed at the time.
